Commerce Department - Guest Lecture - 12/08/2025 The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and the Commerce Department organised a seminar on the topic “Digital Commerce: The Future Is Now”. The Chief Guest Dr. P. Maria Doss, Associate Professor and Research Guide, PG & Research Department of Commerce, Presidency College (Autonomous) delivered an insightful lecture covering various aspect of Digital Commerce with key highlights on: Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its role in business, Data Science in higher education, Bank transactions in the digital era, Online booking systems, E-commerce platforms such as Amazon and Flipkart and Digital evaluation in academics. The session was highly interactive ad provided students with updated knowledge about the digital revolution in commerce. The seminar enhanced students’ understanding of digital commerce trends, technological advancements and their applications in both academic and professional spheres.
