Onam Celebration at St. George’s Arts and Science College St. George’s Arts and Science College celebrated Onam on 25th August 2026 at 10:00 a.m. with great enthusiasm and cultural splendour. The celebration began with an opening prayer, followed by the ceremonial release of the Onam banner. The programme brought together students and faculty in a spirit of joy, fellowship and cultural unity. The celebrations featured a vibrant Pookolam, Ramp Walk, song and dance performances, with students from various departments participating enthusiastically in traditional attire. Fun games and an exciting Treasure Hunt added to the festive atmosphere, encouraging teamwork and active participation among the students. The cultural performances showcased the creativity, confidence and collective spirit of the college community. The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks, followed by refreshments for all participants. The event was a memorable celebration of Kerala’s rich cultural heritage, togetherness and the festive spirit of Onam.
