St. George’s Arts and Science College conducted an awareness session on the Free Career Guidance and Skill Development Programme on 21 August 2026 at 12:00 p.m. in the Central Hall. The session was conducted by professionals from the BMIT Student Development Centre, with the objective of equipping students with essential skills and knowledge for their future careers. The programme began with an opening prayer by Dr. R. Subitha Rani, followed by the welcome address by Principal Dr. V. Victor Solomon. The dignitaries, Mr. Bala Ramachandra Rao, Founder, Presenter and Training Head of BMIT, and Mrs. Bala Chaitanya Kumari, Co-Founder and Centre Head of BMIT, were introduced and felicitated by the Principal. The speakers addressed the students on the importance of interview preparation, professional presentation, appropriate dressing, communication skills, and effective resume preparation. They also created awareness about competitive examinations and encouraged students to begin preparing early for their chosen career paths. The session was highly interactive, with students participating enthusiastically and raising questions during the Q&A session. The speakers provided practical guidance and clarified the students’ doubts regarding interviews, career opportunities, and skill development. The programme concluded with the vote of thanks delivered by Dr. J. Anupriya. The session was a valuable and enriching experience, motivating students to take greater responsibility for their career preparation and equipping them with practical insights for their future professional journeys.
